About me
|
I graduated from the Karuna Institute with a Postgraduate Diploma in Mindfulness-Based Core Process Psychotherapy. The Karuna Institute was a pioneer in bringing Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapy to the UK. Core Process itself is a relational and humanistic approach, exploring how we can bring gentle awareness to our inner processes. I have experience supporting people with a range of issues, including:
I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergence, as well as relationship and attachment difficulties. Like many practitioners, I came to psychotherapy as a second career. I balance this with my ongoing role as owner and director of a technology business, as well as being a mother to two children. In addition to my private practice, I have worked for the charity Women's Aid, supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse, and have been a volunteer with Somerset Mind. I am UKCP registered, receive regular clinical supervision, and strictly adhere to the UKCP Code of Ethics. |
